![]() | You Are Edward From "Edward Scissorhands." You are very shy and often misunderstood. Innocent, sweet, and artistic, you like to pass your days by daydreaming and expressing yourself through the arts. You are a truly unique individual. Catching Up
Today's my sister's birthday. She turned 21. She wanted a bottle of Aftershock for her birthday. She didn't get it though. My mom was wary of sending it to her. We got her a big box of stuff and sent it. Harry Potter DVD, Homemade Soap & Bathsalts, Candy & Cake Mix, some popcorn... and BUBBLE WRAP. I'm sure she'll love it (and the 50 bucks Gran threw in for her).
After we went to the post office to mail her package (Yes, we waited til her birthday... we're horrible), We went to Micheal's to look at soap making stuff. We've made some much soap, bath salt, milkbath, bath bombs, & bath fizzies in the last week or so, It's not EVEN funny. Making soap (at least the melt & pour kind) is so fun. But everyone says My Chocolate Milk Bath is a weird idea. I think people will buy it. It smells exactly like a big glass of chocolate milk. Imagine taking a bath in it... Kit said she wouldn't feel clean afterwards. I've never felt clean after a sitdown bath. I only use them for relaxing. Soak for an hour while reading a book, then take a shower to wash the salt/milk/whatever off.
I picked up an application at Micheal's today. I promised myself no retail work. My legs just can't handle it anymore. But Badly Paying, Painful job is better than no job at all.
I've been adding and subtracting things from the Fserv... Up is the last episode of the Osbournes and some other fun things, down is a bunch of crap. ^_^ I've went from a half gig of free space to over 6 gigs empty. I feel SO happy!
I also planted all my herbs today. I've got Parsely, Sage, Rosemary, and yes... even Thyme. I also planted Oregano, Catnip, Basil (two kinds), and Spearmint. I used almost 3/4 of a bag of potting soil. Half my kitchen counter is covered in pots that are waiting for me to clean off the table in the dining room so I can set them in there to get some sunshine in the mornings. I'm almost afraid to put them in there, I keep remembering my plants from this winter... the ones the cat ate. He even ate the hot pepper seedlings! Well... I'm off. I'm going to make some Fruit Punch soap later, after my spring herb soap has hardened.
